1. There shall exist in the Barony of Fontaine dans Sable an award, known as the Order of the Mermaid’s Grace, which may be given by the Baroness to those persons whose work has been of great service to her during her reign.
2. The holders of this award shall by styled as Bearers of the Mermaid’s Grace and shall be entitled to place the initials B.M.G. after their names.
3. The insignia of the Order shall take the form of a stylized rendering of a mermaid, the design to be determined in turn by each Baron who chooses to bestow this honor.
4. The award carries neither arms nor precedence, and an individual may receive only one Mermaid for a given reign of any Baroness.
5. Amendments to this constitution shall be made by the Coronet.
