Constitution for the
Order of the Watch Fire
I. There shall exist in the Barony of al‑Barran an award, known as the Order of the Watch Fire, which may be given by the Coronet, subject to the pleasure of the Crown, to those persons who have contributed to or demonstrated excellence in the art of archery.
II. The holders of this award shall be styled as Companions of the Watch Fire and shall be entitled to place the initials C.W.F. after their names.
III. The badge of the Order shall be: Sable, a flame environed of ten pheons in annulo points inward Or.
IV. Arms and precedence
A. The award shall carry with it, subject to the pleasure of the Crown, an Award of Arms. Companions of the order shall take precedence after principality orders but before a simple Award of Arms.
B. If the award is given to a person who bears an award carrying higher precedence than given above, his/her precedence shall remain unchanged.
C. If the award is given to a person who has previously received an Award of Arms, his/her precedence shall date from his/her election to the Order.
V. The person first elected to the Order shall bear the title of Premier of the Watch Fire and shall have such duties as the Coronet may delegate.
VI. Amendments to this constitution shall be made by the Coronet of al‑Barran after due consultation with the Crown.
VII. The companionship of all previous recipients of the Order is hereby confirmed.
