Constitution for the

Order of the Venerable Guard

I.          There shall exist in the Kingdom of the Outlands an award, known as the Order of the Venerable Guard, which may be given by the Crown to those of their subjects who have served the martial interests of the Society for a period of not less than fifteen (15) years.

II.         The holders of this award shall be styled as Companions of the Venerable Guard and shall be entitled to place the initials C.V.G. after their names.

III.         The insignia of the Order shall consist of a pouch for preseentation with a suitable stipend, symbolic of the sack of coin given to Knight Pensioners by Edward III in ceremonies at Windsor,  bearing the registered badge of the Order: Vert, a sheaf of three swords inverted proper surmounted by a rose, all within a bordure embattled Or.

IV.        This award carries neither arms nor precedence.

V.         Amendments to this constitution shall be made by the Crown of the Outlands.

VI.        Companionship of all previous recipients of the Order is hereby confirmed.
